Sophie Winkleman is a British actress whose career spans cult comedy, fantasy cinema and American television. Her Wikipedia biography describes her as an actress married to Lord Frederick Windsor, the son of Prince Michael of Kent — a marriage that made her Lady Frederick Windsor and part of the extended British royal family.
She is also the sister of television presenter Claudia Winkleman and studied English literature at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, before building a professional acting career. In late 2017 she was seriously injured in a car accident and was reported at the time to be expected to make a full recovery.
Few British performers combine a royal title with an active screen career. That unusual position explains the lasting public curiosity about her age, family life and finances.
