Dylan Mulvaney is an American transgender social media personality, actress, singer, and author. Born on December 29, 1996, in San Diego, California, she rose to prominence through her TikTok series “Days of Girlhood,” which documented her gender transition starting in early 2022 and helped make her one of the most visible trans creators online.
The series, which began in March 2022, quickly garnered a massive following, drawing hundreds of millions to over 1 billion views across platforms. Her journey from musical theatre performer to a central figure in online culture wars, particularly after the Bud Light partnership in 2023, has been marked by both significant support and intense public scrutiny.
Before her TikTok fame, she worked in stage productions, including The Book of Mormon on tour. She studied musical theatre at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, graduating in 2019.
